The prototype

For delivery in the 4rd quarter of 2022 we are producing the well-known design of the BR 80 standard steam locomotive.

This locomotive, built in a quantity of 39 units, was mainly used for shunting and transfer service and at the RAG even until the end of the 1970s in colliery service.

After having built several hundred locomotives of german design in gauge 1, we now dare to build the first model of a German design in gauge 5". This locomotive is to be the beginning of a series of German steam locomotives for the gauges "5" and " 7 1/4" inch.

We remain true to our principle of combining the best possible quality and durability with the lowest possible price.

In order to guarantee the best possible quality and reliability, we accompany the development from CAD design to the personal acceptance of each locomotive at the manufacturer.

The class 80 is a limited serie and will be delivered from the 3rd quarter of 2022. Benefit from the limited edition and the guaranteed value retention.

The locomotive will be operated through a removable rear panel. However, we pay attention to the highest possible level of detail. The aim is to reproduce the locomotive as closely as possible to the original.

Our models come with a 24 month warranty. 

Starting with the construction, continuing with the delivery and beyond, we do everything to maintain the trust of our customers.

With this model, you get a handy little locomotive, at an unbeatable price-performance ratio. After more than 12 years of experience in the commercial live steam sector and the delivery of more than 100 locomotives in all gauges, in Germany alone, we have acquired the corresponding experience. Also with the new BR 80, our principle is to bring the fun of playing in line with the price and the lasting quality.

As these models are one-offs, a deposit of 50% of the retail price is due when ordering. The rest when delivery is due.
